Firma Pallets
Our Firma line of pallets is designed and built to overcome the drawbacks of using conventional pallets for the storage and transportation of goods. Unlike heavy conventional pallets that can splinter, break or damage products, our Firma line of pallets is designed to be lighter and cleaner, reducing freight costs and lessening the potential for workplace injuries and debris.
Whirlowdale has teamed up with a multi-billion dollar global provider of consumer packaging, industrial products, protective packaging and packaging supply chain services, and is now able to supply a full range of cardboard pallets suitable for all types of use.
Cardboard Pallets - advantages
Some of the reasons why you might want to consider using cardboard pallets:
- They contain no nails or splinters and are therefore safer to handle
- Exempt from ISPM15 regulations (they do not host wood-boring parasites so they require no additional fumigation or heat treatment)
- Approximately 25% of the weight of traditional wooden pallets, cardboard pallets can deliver savings in air, sea and land freight costs
- Cardboard pallets are fully recyclable – cutting down on landfill costs
