Whirlowdale is the largest pallet recycling company in Britain. Once surplus pallets have been brought into one of our yards they go through the sorting process. There they are sorted into pallets that can be repaired & those that cannot.
To maximise the use of materials, Whirlowdale have set up a dedicated recycling centre where all elements of a pallet, which might previously have been scrapped, are stripped down. All reusable parts such as, blocks, boards and even nails are used to create new remanufactured pallets.
Whirlowdale's team of repairers can quickly & effectively repair all types of wooden pallets.
The group has seen vast quality improvements since the installation of our pallet handling machines. Whirlowdale are highly conscious of environmental issues & correctly dispose of all wood waste to be recycled.
Whirlowdale Head office has a twin chamber baler to effectively store and recycle the two main waste factors on site - plastic and paper
Used Pallets Supply
The volume of pallets handled, combined with Whirlowdale's pallet management processes, mean that there is always a good stock of used pallets available for quick dispatch. Due to the current timber shortage, however, we recommend 48 hours notice be given for pallet orders and further planning ahead for special requirements.Go back to main Palogistics® page
